Environmentally Conscious

The Eyecare Spot has added a new frame range, Project Green Eyewear. With a keen focus on the environment, Project Green Eyewear is made from bio-degradable premium Acetates, sourced from Mazzuchelli, biodegradable demo lenses, finest quality Italian hinges, reconstituted leather cases and come with biodegradable packaging. We have been conscious of our impact on the Earth and have from our inception at The Eyecare Spot, re-used supplier packaging for goods as well as recycled packaging.

Project Green Eyewear also donates to an environmentally focused charity, this year, one tree is planted for every frame purchased. OTIS is another frame range that we have had at The Eyecare Spot from our first day, is not only an Australian frame company, it also is made from Eco-Acetate that is 100% biodegradable and recyclable. Etnia Barcelona is another frame range that we have, with a commitment to sustainability and responsibility, it utlises natural, quality materials to increase product lifespan and have eliminated single use plastic in its packaging, replacing it with one that is 100% recyclable and biodegradable.

At the Eyecare Spot, we have also partnered with an Australian lens company from our establishment, CR Labs that are focused on green manufacturing and eco-friendly materials. We will continue to strive to reduce our impact on the Earth.
